UNDER 16 LEAGUE CUP

Brickfield Rangers 0 Garden Village Under 16s 11

Brickfield were blown away by a very good Garden Village team, but gave a good account of themselves for an hour. First half was close with the score at only 2-0 with Brickfield going close on a few occasions. Second half was a different story as Village took control as Bricky tired. The goals flowed in the last 20 minutes but Bricky never gave up and kept trying to play passing football. The final whistle was a relief to many on and off the pitch but Bricky can hold their heads up after holding such a strong team for so long, who will be close to winning the league and cup this season on this showing. Thanks to the Garden Village coaches who gave the players a lot of praise for their efforts, and how they gave them a harder game than a few Under 16 teams have this season in that first hour.

Man of the Match - Very tough choice as the game was so hard but Jimmy Ledezma who never stopped working his socks off.
